Pre-Classical School (Criminology) is a school that is defined as a different school by many authors of criminology. It gives the time period a new name that is Pre-Classical School, Classical school (criminology), and Neo-classical school (criminology). It has made it a complete school just before the scientific study of Positivist school (criminology) of Lomrosian theory of criminal individual personality. He gave impetus to the theory of concentration on individual inspite of crime and penalogy. ==Demonology== It was generally believed that a man commits crime due to the influence of some external Spirit called demon – it is called demonology.〔http://police.pondicherry.gov.in/police%20training/Study%20Materials/Criminology.pdf〕 In Pre-Classical school punishment was irrational and was having illogical method and there was no scientific approach regarding the happening or causation of a crime, but in later years classical school and neo classical school gave emphasis on reason of the happening of the crime. Their study was more scientific and reason based in comparison to the thinkers of Pre-Classical School thinkers.
